2. SMS / Text Messaging — Consent & Opt-Out

Consumer information collected for SMS purposes is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers and SMS content are used only to operate the services you signed up for.

How you opt in to SMS

You consent to receive SMS messages from PM Solutions Hub or your client's number when any of the following occur:

  • You submit a contact form on our website or our client's website with a phone number, where the form clearly discloses that you may receive SMS responses.
  • You verbally consent during a phone call with us or our client.
  • You submit a lead through a third-party platform (Angi, HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, Facebook Lead Ads, etc.) and that platform's terms include SMS contact authorization.
  • You sign up as a paying client of PM Solutions Hub and agree to our Terms of Service.

Message frequency and types

Message frequency varies and may include: initial lead response, follow-up sequence messages, appointment reminders, status updates, and service notifications. Up to 5 messages within the first 72 hours of a new lead, plus additional messages as needed for booked appointments.

How to opt out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying with any of the following keywords: STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. Opt-out is processed immediately and you will receive one confirmation message. You will not receive further marketing or follow-up SMS after opting out (transactional messages directly related to active appointments may still be sent unless you contact us to fully unsubscribe).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve our AI lead-response services.
  • Respond to homeowner inquiries on behalf of our contractor clients within 60 seconds.
  • Send appointment reminders, follow-up messages, and service-related notifications.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Bill clients for services and process payments.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With our contractor clients: If you are a homeowner who submitted a lead, we share your contact and project information with the roofing contractor you intended to contact.
  • With service providers who help us operate our business (e.g., Twilio for SMS/voice, VAPI for AI voice agents, Google for sheets and calendar, cloud hosting providers). These providers are contractually limited to using your information only for the services they provide to us.
  • For legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • In a business transfer: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain client account information for the duration of your service plan and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Lead and call records are typically retained for 36 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Opt out of marketing communications.
  • Withdraw consent for SMS messaging (see Section 2 above).
